Patricia F. Roldan, Aud, CCC-A

Our chief audiologist, Patricia F. Roldan, Aud., CCC-A, Doctor of Audiology, is a Valley native and graduate of Rio Hondo High School. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in Audiology at the University of Texas in Austin, and earned her Doctor of Audiology at A.T. Still University. Dr. Roldan is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in audiology and in helping people hear better.


Rocio Cavazos, B.S.,
Doctor of Audiology Extern
Rocio Cavazos is an Audiology Intern and doctoral candidate for Lamar University’s Audiology program in Beaumont, Tx. She is also a project co-investigator with the European Space Agency. Originally from Tamaulipas, Mexico, Rocio earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Speech Pathology with a specialization in Medical Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas. Rocio’s studies included the multicultural influence of studying abroad with the University of Salamanca in Spain and Dankook University in South Korea.


Rocio specializes in inner ear pathologies, where her main research projects are centered in vestibular and auditory pathologies within extreme environments. Currently, she is closely working with the European Space Agency in order to treat and promote hearing and balance health for astronauts in the very extreme environments of outer space!
